Dell announce new Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet

Dell’s rugged tablet lineup is widely used by those who work in extreme conditions and today, Dell has announced a new product, the Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet. This will be the first fully rugged tablet from Dell with focus on performance and reliability in harshest conditions. This will add to the lineup containing the Latitude 12 Rugged Extreme flip-hinge convertible notebook, the Latitude 14 Rugged Extreme notebook and the Latitude 14 Rugged notebook. The new Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet will be available from last week of July’15.

Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet comes with IP65 rating to protect the tablet from dust and water, has a durable pogo-pin docking interface for modular component expansion (pair with desk dock, vehicle dock, keyboard etc), full size keyboard cover has a customizable RGB backlight.
