Acer TravelMate P648 is worlds first notebook with 802.11ad WiFi compatibility

Acer TravelMate P648 can hit network speeds up to 4.6Gbps, thanks to the brand new 802.11ad Wi-Fi network support. Powered by Intel 6th generation Core i3/i5/i7 chip, P648 will be available in North America from the montth of April with a starting price of $799.99 but first, it will be available in China from February for ¥6,999. Acer TravelMate P645 has magnesium-aluminum alloy bottom cover and weights only 1.7 kgs. Users can add up to NVIDIA® GeForce® 940M graphics with 2GB VRAM graphics to make the P648 more powerful and can use SSDs in RAID 0 configuration or a 1TB or HDD.
