Alcatel Idol 4 With VR Headset Launched For Rs. 16,999
Alcatel today launched a new smartphone in India with VR capabilities. The Alcatel Idol 4, launched in the form of Blackberry Dtek50 last month, comes with a 5.2 inch full HD display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Alcatel has launched the phone with a virtual reality (VR) headset for an enhanced VR experience right out of the box.

The Idol 4 comes with a 5.2 inch Full HD LTPS LCD display, giving you a pixel density of ~424 PPI. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and includes several custom features like Precog UI (Touchless control), Live UI, Parallax UI to enhance user experience.
The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor and is assisted by Adreno 405 GPU in the graphics department. It comes with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512 GB with a microSD card.
In terms of imaging, the Idol 4 comes with a 13 MP rear camera with dual LED flash, Phase Detection Autofocus and Electronic Image Stabilisation. The front houses an 8 MP camera with an LED flash.
