Microsoft Display Dock turns Windows phone into a PC

Microsoft announced a new accessory called the Display Dock, allowing its compatible Windows 10 mobiles to be used a PCs. Utilizing a feature called Continuum, plugging your phone into the Display Dock, with the monitor plugged in on the other side, you will get a PC-like experience on the big screen. Utilizing the new USB Type C ports to deliver content faster, the new Display Dock comes with DisplayPort and HDMI connectors.

Supporting screen resolutions up to 1080p, the Display Dock can be used with the Lumia 950 XL and the Lumia 950 when it is made available in the coming weeks. Priced at $99, it can seem a bit on the pricier side initially. However, considering the utility you can derive from it, it is quite reasonable.
