ASUS and Lenovo bring massive gaming displays to CES

Lenovo Legion Y44w and ASUS Strix XG438Q have taken gaming to a whole new level, thanks to huge 44″and 43″ panels respectively. Lenovo Legion Y44w is priced at $1,999.99 and ASUS Strix XG438Q pricing is not announced yet. ASUS has not announced availability of display yet and Lenovo Y44w will be available from April 2019. Lenovo has also announced the ThinkVision P44w with 44″ 4K panel. ThinkVision P44w will be available from April 2019, with an expected starting price of $1299.

  • 2x HDMI 2.0 and 1 x DP 1.4.
  • VESA Certified DisplayHDR™ 400.
  • 450nit peak brightness.

43.4-inch display offers an ultra-wide 32:10 aspect ratio with a resolution of 3840×1200, giving a screen real-estate equivalent to two 24-inch 16:10 displays. Dual integrated USB-C ports allow two video inputs that can simultaneously transfer data, video and audio signals as well as provide up to 90W charging power.

  • 43″4K display panel.
  • 120 Hz refresh rates.
  • AMD FreeSync 2 HDR.
  • VESA’s DisplayHDR 600 specification with 10-bit image processing.

  • Three HDMI 2.0 inputs and a DisplayPort interface.
  • Dual 10W speakers.
