ASUS ZenFone 3s Max : How to block app from using cellular data

Time and again, we end up with an application using up too much of cellular data or we may have set of apps that we never use while connected to cellular network. It is a good practice to block these apps from using cellular data as even 10MB saved is data saved. We have compiled a few guides for ASUS ZenFone 3s Max. Head to this page to see the full list of guides.

Open the application “Mobile Manager”

Click on ‘Data Usage’.

Here, you will see the amount of data used during current cycle, data used today etc. Click on ‘Control app data usage’.

You will now see full list of applications. For each application, you can set mobile data or Wi-Fi data or both to off/on.

If the mark is green, data is on. If the options is unmarked, data is disabled. Disable data for apps that you do not want to use when connected to mobile data network by tapping on ‘Mobile’ option.

If you want to disable data access by system apps too, click on hamburger menu on top right corner. Click on ‘Show system’.

Now you will see even the system apps that you can disable from using data.
