Intel announce second generation Compute Stick at CES 2016

Last year, Intel had introduced Compute Stick, a computer in a pen drive like Stick that can be attached to a display or TV to it into a computer. This week, at CES 2016, Intel has announced successor to the first generation Computer Stick and the new products will be powered by 6th Gen Intel® Core™ M and the latest quad-core Intel® Atom™ processors. Both devices will be available in Q1 2016.

  • $399 with Core m3 ; $499 for Core m5
  • Production by February 2016

  • Intel® Atom™ x5 – Z8300 quad-core processor
  • Optional pre-loaded Windows 10 OS
  • 2GB of RAM, 32GB of eMMC storage
  • Intel® Dual Band Wireless AC 7265 and Bluetooth* 4.0
  • 2x USB ports
  • $$159
  • Production by February 2016
