Monument Valley makes a Windows Phone debut

It’s raining new apps and games for Windows Phone today, on the sidelines of the BUILD 2015 conference being held in San Francisco. After a major non-Windows Phone app – Pocket Casts debuted on Windows Phone, it’s the turn of an award winning game called Monument Valley to finally make its way on to Microsoft’s mobile platform.

Released for iOS and Android back in 2014, Monument Valley won multiple awards and critical acclaim for the great quality of the game as well as the artwork.

“In Monument Valley you will manipulate impossible architecture and guide a silent princess through a stunningly beautiful world. Monument Valley is a surreal exploration through fantastical architecture and impossible geometry. Guide the silent princess Ida through mysterious monuments, uncovering hidden paths, unfolding optical illusions and outsmarting the enigmatic Crow People.”

Compatible with devices with 512 MB RAM as well, Monument Valley is available on the Windows Phone Store for $3.99, with the Forgotten Shores available as an in-app purchase for $1.99. It is well worth the price.
