Google wants to help iOS developers with its Route 85 web series
Google’s mobile journey started with iOS – its maps app served iPhone users’ mapping needs before Google and Apple had a tiff. Even today, Google has a great set of well-designed and better-functioning apps on iOS. And to help out other iOS developers, the company has started a new web series called Route 85.
The web series starts off with a hilarious introduction video, but this is a very smart move to lure iOS developers to Android, eventually. That is what the endgame of this series seems like, and it’s not a bad thing.
