BBC iPlayer app now released for Android and Kindle Fire devices

BBC iPlayer is one of the most popular radio applications on iOS and is now available for download on Google’s Play store for Android device. Amazon appstore will get he application in very near future. The application feature set is more or less the same that is available on iOS play store. Do note that this app needs atleast Icecream Sandwich version of Android as BBC iPlayer uses HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) protocol as Adobe has ended support for Flash.
