After a grand success with the Coolpad Note 3, Coolpad is back with a successor, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite. The Coolpad Note 3 Lite is not a stripped down version of the Note 3, but its more of a mini Note 3. There is not much of a difference between both these mobile. The Coolpad Note 3 is a 5.5 inch device while the Note 3 lite is a 5 inch device. The Note 3 is powered by a Mediatek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and the Lite has a processor clocked at 1 GHz. The difference ends there. Basically if you feel that the Note 3 is a big device to handle, you have a choice to get the Note 3 lite. Both the devices have 3 GB of RAM, fingerprint sensor and 16 GB of internal storage. The internal memory is expandable using a dedicated microSD card slot, by upto 64 GB. The Note 3 Lite has got 2500 mAh battery.
It is priced at Rs 6999. I have spend a few days with the device and I feel that it is identical to the Coolpad Note 3 in performance and other aspects. The Coolpad Note 3 was a good deal at Rs 8999 and now the deal just got sweeter with the Lite edition at Rs 6999. The Coolpad Note 3 Lite will be made in India in partnership with Videocon.
