LightSpeed announce GLYD and DRYF electric bikes availability

It is raining electric smart bikes and LightSpeed has something interesting in this space. LightSpeed GLYD and DRYFT are the variants of e-bike that LightSpeed designed to breeze through city traffic. The current batch of GLYD is available at INR 27,999 and DRYFT at INR 37,999. Initially, it was priced at 24,999 and 34,999 for GLYD and DRYFT respectively and was offered at this cost for the early funders who came forward to be the first ones to support these innovative eBikes.The LightSpeed campaign started with an initial goal of INR 15,00,000 and the campaign has already got close to INR 10 Lakh worth of preorders with 20 days left to go for the campaign to end. Anyone looking to preorder the eBikes can do so by getting on to Fueladream.com.

LightSpeed DRYFT

LightSpeed DRYFT is the better among the two and is available for 34,999/-. With 50 kilometer range and 25kmph top speed, the DRYFT is perfect for city drive. The battery takes 3 hours to charge and is made by Samsung or LG. The electronic display provides wide range of information that includes speed, trip distance, total motor power consumption, status messages like cruise control toggle and is password protected. The electric motor has 250W power and 32Nm torque.

DRYFT has front suspension, disc brakes and tires are made by Kenda. Buyers can opt for blue and orange colors.

LightSpeed GLYD

The LightSpeed GLYD has range of 35 kilometers and can reach 25kmph speed. The restriction of top speed would mean that riders need not have driving license to ride this bike. The pedestal has 3 level height adjuster that gives optimum support to driver. It takes 3 hours for the battery to fully charge from 0% and the battery is made by Samsung or LG. This gives estimated running cost of just 6 paise per kilometer. GLYD comes with LED minimal featured display and buyers can upgrade to better display
