Goodbox App Review – Chat before you buy
There are dozens of mobile applications that you can use to order groceries and food. But there is nothing that comes closer to the experience of talking to the vendor before placing an order. For that to happen, we have no option other than to directly call the vendor and place an order by case (and lose discounts etc). Goodbox application is designed this problem in mind and it does lot more than just providing a way to talk to the vendors.

Goodbox application’s home screen take you to chat screen, you can also go to ‘Explore’ section to see what is available in your locality. Goodbox will also list offers that are available at that time.
If by any chance, your vendor does not respond to you by chat, you have an option to set a reminder for the vendor.
There are wide range of services available and you can easily go through tese from ‘Explore’ section if you are not checking for a particular vendor. The explore menu gives you option to browse by vendor type, brands, shows you what is trending and what you may like based on your previous purchases.
When more users add vendors as their favourite, the same shows next to the name of vendor. Once you open a vendor page, you get option to pick items, add to cart, select delivery address and pay either by cash or using MobiKwik wallet.
We had an instance where the laundry that we picked was not responsive on chat. We then pinged Goodbox Team who then checked our location and suggested another store who are more responsive. This is when we recognized that for each business, we get to see whether the business is open at that time and when was the last time they logged in to Goodbox to answer queries. We informed Goodbox team that the Laundry service and the medical store were responsive and in return, they had this to offer:
In the end, we like the concept a lot. Goodbox, with interface to chat with the businesses is much better than the other apps that does not provide any kind of interaction (every one provides a phone number and even a Google search will do but this is much better). The interface is super clean, there were absolutely no crashes or lag on Android. We are going to add Goodbox to our ‘Recommended applications list’. We wish all the best to the team at Goodbox and we hope that they get to add more users and businesses to Goodbox.
