Google announce new Chromecast and Chromecast Audio

Admit it! The current generation Chromecast is an ugly looking device! Today, Google has announced a successor to Chromecast and it looks way way better than the first one and it looks cute too, with lot of color options. The new generation Chromecast comes with a new antenna design that has better range and can stream super high resolution videos with faster buffering. Priced at $35, the Chromecast 2 will be available via Google Store in 17 countries. Instead of just a stick like the first generation one, this one is like a hockey puck with magnetic flat cable.

Google has also introduced Chromecast Audio, will support 3.5mm, RCA and optical inputs. Chromecast Audio can mirror all sounds from supported Android devices and can stream music from computer. Also added for support are Spotify, Google Play Music, Deezer and BBC iPlayer.
