Google releases Ingress Augmented reality game for Android users

Please do note that Ingress is a closed-beta right now and you need to request an invite at http://www.ingress.com. Ingress, designed by Google’s Niantic Labs is an augmented reality game that transforms the real world into the landscape for a global game of mystery, intrigue, and competition. Player in the game have to move around in real world to discover and tap sources of a mysterious energy. During the process, player has to acquire objects that aid in quests, ally with other players and deploy tech to capture a territory. Player can also track other players across the world, communicate with them using an Intelligence map. As per Niantic Labs, this game keeps on evolving, cryptic clues and secret codes are added and as one goes further, he/she can get game tech unlocked.
