Granddaddy of all phones, HTC HD2, gets Firefox OS

We think Duracell should use this phone in their commercials. HTC HD2 just goes on and on and on. There isnt an operating system that this phone couldn’t run and true to its character, HD2 can now run Firefox OS. Head to this XDA thread if you want to know everything about this. Installation of ROM using CMW or TWRP is not yet available but for now NativeSD installation is supported. You can download the ROM from here. Installation takes around 180MB of space. Do note that this is not a completed build and so many things do not work but hey, this is a good start.

Installation procedure:

Create an EXT4 partition on your SD card. You should have 2 primary partitions, first FAT, second EXT4 formatted.
Copy downloaded ROM to your SD card.
Follow the instructions for your recovery and bootloader

Things that does not work:
Mobile network (SIM not detected, but STK apps are loaded)
Sound (Extremely low volume)
Camera (Doesnt work most of the time)
Mass storage
