Huawei Mate S is world’s first smartphone with pressure sensitive display

While Apple fans across the globe are eagerly waiting to see ‘force touch’ technology to be incorporated into iOS devices, Huawei stunned the world by making world’s first smartphone with ‘Force Touch’ like technology. The Huawei Mate S is the world’s first smartphone with “Pressure Sensitive” touch display panel. The display will be able to differentiate different levels of pressure on the screen. A simple action is to apply more pressure on the screen to zoom in on a photo. Unfortunately the variant of Mate S with Force Touch tech will not be available at launch. Mate S (non-forcetouch variant) will be available in 30 countries from 15th of September and the standard variant with 32GB of RAM will be priced at 649 euros while 64GB variant will cost 699 euros.
