HP Chromebook 11 back in stores, starts at $279

Though HP launched Chromebook 11 in October, they had to pull it from market due to stock charger overheating issues. HP Chromebook 11 is designed to charge using microUSB port and for this, a new 2A charger was introduced. This 2A output charger charges devices two times faster than what are commonly known as fast mobile phone chargers (1Ampere current output) and this resulted in overcharging of chargers and HP had to recall 145,000 chargers and provide free replacement chargers.

HP had to pull Chromebook 11 off the shelves and now, after fixing the overheating problem, Chromebook 11 is re-released into market. If you are interested in purchasing one, you better grab one as soon as possible as the stock is running out every where. Chromebooks demand went up many fold in 2013 and have surpassed Apple’s MacBooks in mainstream notebook market share.
