Lenovo announce new laptops and desktops for SMBs

Lenovo has announced updates to M, B, E series laptops, S series desktops and to the ThinkPad E series business laptops. These desktops and laptops are designed for small and medium businesses. The S series All-in-One models, S200 and S500 tower models will be available in select markets from 4Q2015. Lenovo M, E and B series updates will also be available from 4Q2015. The ThinkPad E series will be available from November with a starting price or $449.

“Small business users want to be mobile and secure and seek reliable high performance computing to work on their terms. Laptops for total mobile flexibility with excellent battery life or stylish desktops to meet the rigorous tasks of today’s office and retail environments,” said Dilip Bhatia, vice president PC Design and Marketing, Lenovo. “Our latest range of products designed for small businesses deliver on all fronts and offer customers peace of mind with class-leading security features, renowned reliability and performance options giving them the freedom to work how they want.”

The new E series models will come in 14” and 15.6” variants, can be configured to have fingerprint scanner, have up to 9 hour battery life and are powered by latest generation Intel and AMD chips (offering 10% increase in performance and 34% increase in graphics performance). Buyers can configure E series to have discrete graphics, upto 16GB of RAM, SSD storage for more power and efficiency. Lenovo has added 3 USB 3.0 ports, 1x HDMI port, gigabit ethernet port, Intel RealSense 3D camera.

S series AiOs come in 19.5”, 21” and 23” FUllHD display options and touchscreen option can be availed while purchasing. S200 and S500 on the other hand are small form factor desktops. The S series models are powered by latest Intel or AMD chips, include SSDs and discrete models (in select variants).

Lenovo M41 laptop comes with a 14” FullHD IPS display, up to latest Intel Core i7 chip, discrete AMD Radeon R7 graphics, up to 16GB RAM, SSD options and can stay on for up to 9 hours. Lenovo E41 and E51 come with 14” and 15.6” displays (up to FullHD resolution), optional fingerprint security scanner.
