HP ProBook X360 11 EE announced for students and teachers

HP ProBook x360 11 Education Edition (yeah, it’s a long name) is a new laptop designed for students and teachers. The HP ProBook x360 11 Education Edition will be available worldwide on Dec. 16. Prime feature for X360 11 Education Edition is touchscreen with Windows Ink support. The HP ProBook x360 11 EE shell is made of hard industrial rubber and display panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Testing involved procedures liks dropping from elevation of 30 inches. Given that the notebook is targeted at students and teachers, durability was a design priority.

The HP ProBook x360 11 EE I also the first convertible laptop with dual camera system. Called Explorer Mode, the dual camera system has a 1080p FullHD camera on the keyboard deck to let students take photo when the notebook is used in tablet mode. The device switches easily between four modes.

Another interesting feature is the ‘Take a test’ application that creates browser based lockdown environment to deploy tests for students. The lockdown mode lets students take secure online assessments and students will not have copy paste access or access to other files/content.
