HTML5 powered Epic Citadel shows that the future of HTML5 is safe

Epic games, developer of Epic Citadel, the popular game on Android released a short youtube video showcasing the power of HTML5. No plugins, no extra tools. All that you need is a browser that supports HTML5. The developers of the game were able to port the game to the web in just under four days and used Emscripten and asm.js for the porting. A million lines of C++ code was compiled to JavaScript with ease. The beauty of this is that to play the game, you need not install any tool or plugin. Like they say, ‘Lock and load, baby! Lock and load!’ and after all this, you get performance close to native application. Watch the video and enjoy!
