Oukitel usually makes phones with massive batteries. It looks like Oukitel could not resist the tempation to creat iPhone X clone. The Oukitel U18, powered by MediaTek MT6750T, comes with a 5.85″ display that has a notch at the top to hold all necessary sensors and front camera. Unlike the iPhone X display that goes all the way to the bottom edges, Oukitel has thin bezel at the bottom. Priced at $179.99, the U18 is available for pre-order. Till 7th of February, this phone will be avaialble for just $159.99.
Though the display is huge, at 5.85″ with really thin bezels, the resolution is disappointing. The Oukitel U18 comes with a 720p display which is a stretch for display of this size. There is 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage onboard. The 4000mAh battery should give pretty long battery life as the chipset and display are not battery intense. At launch, the Oukitel U18 comes with Android 7.0 Nougat OS. Do note that the 4G LTE bands are not supported in India so if you are planning to get one for use, you have to stick to 3G networks.
