Leapfrog announces LeapReader read/write learning kit for kids

Leapfrog, an educational entertainment and toys company has announced a new product for kids, named LeapReader. LeapReader can be used to teach kids how to read and write. LeapReader will cost around $50 and will be available for pre-order starting 12th of June. Available in pink and green colors, the device is made for kids between age of 4 and 8. With learn to read, learn to write and learn through listening modes/experiences, kids can learn to speak words and sentences, gain letter writing ability (with interactive guidance) and develop comprehension skills. Also, huge library of audio books, music and more are added to LeapReader library.

  • Learn to Read: Children learn to read by sounding out words, reading sentences and building comprehension through LeapReader books, maps and flash cards.
  • Learn to Write: Interactive LeapReader workbooks feature audio coaching and support to help children learn the sequence of strokes and build writing fluency. These new workbooks feature revolutionary LeapFrog Learning Paper which contains ink embedded within the page for a mess-free writing solution.
  • Learn through Listening: LeapReader audio books, learning songs and trivia challenges foster children’s comprehension skills, vocabulary and imagination.
