Lenovo P2 and A Plus announced at IFA2016

At IFA 2016, Lenovo has announced the P2 and A Plus budget smartphones. While P2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, A Plus is powered by Mediatek MT6580 chipset. Lenovo P2 is priced at €249 for 3GB RAM variant and €299 for 4GB RAM variant. Lenovo A Plus is priced at €69 and will be sold as an ultra low cost smartphone.

Lenovo P2 comes with a FullHD AMOLED 5.5″ display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. There will be two variants. One will come with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, the second variant will have 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Coming to optics, there is a 13mp Sony sensor at the back (with dual LED flash) and a 5mp front facing camera. Other features include fingerprint sensor, massive 5100mAh battery.

Lenovo A Plus comes with a much smaller 4.5″ 480×854 pixel display. Powered by Mediatek MT6580 chipset, there is 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. Users can expand storage on both the phones using microSD card. Coming to optics, there is a 5mp rear camera and 2mp front facing camera.
