Lenovo Phab 2 Launched In India – 6.4″ Display, Rs. 11,999

Lenovo today officially announced the launch of the Phab 2 smartphone in India. The monstrous phone, featuring a 6.4 inch display and a quad-core Mediatek processor has been launched at a price of Rs. 11,999. Lenovo will be selling the phone exclusively via Flipkart in two colours – Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold.

The Lenovo Phab 2 runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Lenovo’s custom UI on top. The device features a 6.4 inch HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device comes with a pixel density of ~229 PPI.

The Lenovo Phab 2 is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core Mediatek MT8735 processor clubbed with Mali-T720MP2 GPU. The device comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card.

Coming to the camera department, the Lenovo Phab 2 features a 13 MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash. The camera comes with features such as geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama. On the front, the device sports a 5 MP secondary camera.

The Lenovo Phab 2 is powered by a huge 4050 mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio and microUSB v2.0.

Pricing And Availability

The Lenovo Phab 2 has been priced at Rs. 11,999. As mentioned earlier, it will be available in two colours – Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold. Lenovo has partnered with Flipkart to sell the phone. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting on December 9.
