LG G3 uses NXP’s LifeVibes VoiceExperience solution

NXP Software released an official statement that LG’s flagship smartphone, G3 is using LifeVibes VoiceExperience solution that was built to provide state of art voice quality and cost innovative solutions. LifeVibes is used on G3 to enhance voice quality for coversations that happen on Circuit switched, VoLTE and also enhances voice quality on LG’s Q-Voice speech recognition. LifeVibes is optimized for Qualcomm’s Hexagon SDK, which means that any manufacturer using compatible Qualcomm SoCs should be able to implement LifeVibes.

“Using our full software solution has distinct advantages for handset makers,” says Charles G Park, Head of NXP Software Korea. “It reduces the BOM costs, accelerates the time to market, and provides the ability to fine-tune our software to match the characteristics of the individual handset, and the preferences of the different regions.”

LifeVibes VoiceExperience used advanced voice modelling techniques that offers exceptional audio quality and clarity, suppressing noise, removing unwanted signals and canceling echo. Being flatform-independent and full software solution, LifeVibes, if successful on G3 could be adopted by more OEMs.
