Sandisk releases 128GB Ultra microSDXC card
This is very good news for those who love store huge amount of data on their SD cards. Sandisk has released 128GB class 10 micro-SDXC card and should cost around $200. Do note that only smartphones that support 128GB microSD cards will be able to access full 128GB of storage. Sandisk is bundling SD adapter so that the card can be used as a SD card. This card is compatible with Sandisk’s Memory Zone android application that makes it easy to view, access and back up all files from phone’s memory to card.
To cramp this much of storage space in such tiny card, Sandisk had to use special manufacturing process to stack 16 memory dies and each die is smaller than human hair.
