Micromax announce 5mm thin Canvas Sliver 5 smartphone
Well, this is definitely a surprise. Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 is the new Android smartphone from India’s mobile phone maker and it is just 5.1mm thick. That makes this world’s slimmest smartphone. Sliver 5 is also the lightest smartphone, thanks to 97 grams weight. Attaining this dimensions and weight is not an easy feat. The bummer though is that the phone has only a 2000mAh battery, powered by Snapdragon 410 and priced Rs.17,999/-.
Thanks to the metal frame, the phone looks and feels top class. Canvas Sliver 5 comes with 4G LTE support and the 4.8” display is a HD AMOLED display. At launch, the phone will come with Android 5.0.2 operating system. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space onboard. There is an 8mp camera at the back and a 5mp camera at the front will be able to capture great selfies.
