Microsoft launches Skype preview for Blackberry 10
About a week ago, Microsoft has announced the availability of a preview version of Skype for Blackberry 10 OS. The preview version is available only on Q10 and is optimized to work well on the smaller display of Q10. Users of Blackberry Q10 can download the preview application from Blackberry world here. BB Z10 users will have to wait a bit to get their hands on Skype. Given that this is a preview version, expect a few bugs and please do report bug to Skype when you see one.
Skype Preview app is compatible with Blackberry Hub and all Skype notifications (incoming chat, contact invite requests etc) will be visible in Blackberry Hub. Users can sync Skype contact to Blackberry phonebook enabled users to initiate chat directly from phonebook. Users can provide feedback via Skype Community Discussion or can comment on the blog post at Skype blogs.
