Microsoft starts replacing Nokia Priority Dealers with Microsoft Priority Reseller stores in India

Microsoft has officially begun replacing the old Nokia Priority Dealer stores in India. The software giant is replacing them with Microsoft Priority Resellers, sticking with the same concept of the stores for the most part. The new Microsoft Priority Reseller store is located in the capital city of New Delhi.

At the unveiling of the first Microsoft Priority Reseller store was Chris Weber, Corporate Vice President, Mobile Device Sales at Microsoft. The company has a daunting task at hand, with as many as 8872 Nokia Priority Dealer stores and 119 Nokia Care centers awaiting the transition to Microsoft Priority Reseller and Microsoft Care respectively. Out of all these stores, nearly 441 stores are set to be revamped completely, with the others being refreshed to the new look. Microsoft is going to complete this process by June 2015.

While the above numbers are for India only, Microsoft is going to refresh a total of 15,684 stores and 324 Care centers globally, including India. Of those stores and centers, 3,287 are going to get a complete overhaul whereas the rest will be refreshed to the new design.
