Microsoft’s Build 2013 developer conference schedule announced

In the year 2011, Microsoft started Build conferences where they discuss what they are doing with Windows and few other services. During Build 2011, the focus was on Windows 8 with Steven Sinofsky giving a clear picture on what they are doing with Windows 8 and that keynote was one of the best among all keynotes that we followed. 2012  was the event where Microsoft focused on Windows, Windows Phone and Azure and gave away Surface RT, Lumia 920 and 100Gb of Skydrive storage for free. Yesterday, Microsoft has announced Build 2013 event, which will happen in San Francisco From June 26th to 28th and the focus this time will be on Windows, Windows Phone, Azure, Internet Explorer, Office 365, Xbox and Visual Studio.

Given the recent buzz around Windows Blue (a possible update to Windows 8), it will be interesting to see if Microsoft shares their work on Windows 8 OS which has been in the line of fire lately. Registrations for the event will start at 9 a.m. PT on Tuesday, April 2. Do note that last year, the registrations were over in under an hour and we do expect the same this time around. So, if you are planning to attend the event, be ready to jump on registration page once it opens.

“At Build, we’ll share updates and talk about what’s next for Windows, Windows Server, Windows Azure, Visual Studio and more. Build is the path to creating and implementing your great ideas, and then differentiating them in the market. Pay a visit to www.buildwindows.com, get yourself registered on April 2, and join us for three days of immersive presentations delivered by the engineers behind our products and services, while networking with thousands of other developers getting the first look at what’s next. We’ll look forward to seeing you at Moscone.” said Steve Guggenheimer, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President and Chief Evangelist, Developer & Platform Evangelism
