Moto M Launching In India On December 13

Moto M is all set to be launched in India on December 13. The new Moto M series of smartphones from Lenovo was launched earlier this year in China. The first in this line is named Moto M and it comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display. It is also one of the few Moto branded phones to feature a Mediatek processor. The pricing is expected around the Rs. 20,000 mark in India.

The Moto M comes with a 5.2 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, giving you a pixel density of ~424 PPI. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a near stock Android UI and some additional Moto apps installed.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio P15 processor. It comes with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB with a microSD card. The phone features a hybrid dual SIM card slot, meaning you can use either 2 SIM cards or 1 SIM card and a microSD card at any given point of time.

In terms of imaging, the Moto M comes with a 16 MP rear camera with dual LED flash, Phase Detection Autofocus and 1080p recording. The front houses an 8 MP camera for selfies.

Connectivity options include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC. The phone is powered by a 3050 mAh battery and comes with a USB Type C port. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor.

Pricing And Availability

The Moto M is priced at CNY 1999 in China. Expected price in India is Rs. 20,000. The launch is expected on December 13th in India.
