Nubia M2 is the new dual lens smartphone, released in India today by Nubia. Priced at ₹22,999.00, the M2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chip. Nubia M2 - Phone with Decent Performance but lacks in few departments
Hi buddies,
Pro's:
1) Phone looks premium in hand and build quality is good
2) Rear Camera is average for dual camera setup and front camera is awesome( I compared ViVo V5s- Color details are good in Nubia M2 than Vivo). Camera has lot of features to explore
3) Battery backup is awesome. It will certainly last for a day with heavy usage
4) Display is bright. Sunlight legibility is good. thanks to SUPER AMOLED FULL HD display.
5) Touch responsiveness is very good
6) Mobile is Very slim with 7 mm thickness . It s good to hold in hand and mobile is not slippery.
7) Dolby surround 7.1 is good to hear. Initially it will be in disabled state under settings-> Sound (Last option) . To enable it, play music in default music player, go to -> Sound effects -> Dolby will be enabled -> Click on custom -> Do any changes -> Click on Ok. Now go to settings, it will enabled. I suspect this must be a software issue.
8) Touch gestures are fine. I do not like edge features personally
Con's:
1) It s very hard to unplug the USB type C from the mobile.
2) Still Marshmallow
3)App lock is not working fine
Since it locks app for Only one time if user relaunches the app then no lock screen is displayed. i downloaded CM app lock to resolve the issueConclusion
Even though phones looks premium in hand it lacks in software department. Hope a software update will be rolled out in future. Those who want a phone with classic looks, decent camera performance , battery life, good display to watch movies and play games, must go for it.
