Oppo F5 with 20mp selfie camera released in India

Oppo F5 is the new selfie centrix smartphone coming out of China. Powered by MediaTek MT6763T chipset, the Oppo F5 comes with a 21mp front facing selfie camera. Priced at Rs.19,999/- the Oppo F5 is up for pre-order on Flipkart and the 6GB RAM variant will be available at later time for Rs.24,999/ The display of the phone is a 6″ 18:9 bezel less display (except for small bezels at top and bottom to hold usual sensors and modules). With this revealed, we can expect OnePlus 5 to have a similar design language (well, with better hardware like faster chip, more RAM and more camera modules).

At launch, Oppo F5 will run ColorOS 3.2 overlay UI on top of Android 7 Nougat. Yes, no Oreo yet and we are not sure if the phone will get updated to Oreo. The battery is rated at 3200mAh. This is the first phone from Oppo to feature 18:9 bezel less display. The red color variant looks very good. The downside though is that MediaTek MT6736T chipset which cannot compete with midrange chipsets offered by Qualcomm. The phone comes in two variants. One will have 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage while the other one will have 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There is a third variant, named Youth Edition will low RAM and storage, mainly for budget conscious buyers.
