Lenovo A7000 launched in India for INR 8,999

Lenovo has launched a new phone today in India. The Lenovo A7000, a phone with a 5.5 inch phone, comes with the latest version of Android and packs in impressive specs for the price that the company has set. The Lenovo A7000 will be a Flipkart-exclusive phone and will be sold every Wednesday based on the flash sales system.

Lenovo announced the launch of the A7000 at a press event held earlier in the day. Speaking on the launch, Sudhin Mathur, Lenovo India’s Director of Smartphones, said:

“At Lenovo we are committed to providing cutting edge technology to our consumers. The A7000 brings in flagship worthy features and performance at an incredible price making it a perfect choice for consumers looking for a trendy and powerful phone loaded with future-proof features.”

The Lenovo A7000 comes with a 5.5 inch HD LCD display, a 64-bit octa core Mediatek MT6752 processor assisted by the Mali-T760MP2 GPU. There is 2 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded with a microSD card. There is an 8 MP camera on the back assisted by an LED flash and a front facing 5 MP camera. Lenovo has thrown in support for dual SIM and LTE as well and at the same time, added support for Dolby Atmos sound. This makes the A7000 the first phone in the world to feature support for Dolby Atmos.

The Lenovo A7000 comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop and has a huge 2900 mAh battery. Flipkart will carry the phone and the registrations have begun. The Lenovo A7000 goes on sale beginning April 15th for a very good price of INR 8,999. You can go register for the sale here.
