Samsung Galaxy E7, E5, A5 and A3 launched in India

Away from the CES, in India, Samsung has launched not one, but four new Galaxy devices in two new series – the E and A. The Galaxy E7 and E5, and the Galaxy A5 and A3, to be precise.

Galaxy A5 A3

Starting off with the Galaxy A series, which comes with an aluminum unibody design – the Galaxy A3 has a 4.5 qHD Super AMOLED display, a 64 bit quad core Snapdragon 410 processor, 8 MP and 5 MP main and front cameras respectively and 1.5 GB RAM. The Galaxy A5 comes with a 5 inch HD display and a 13 MP camera on the front and 2 GB RAM. There’s a bigger battery compared to the A3 – 2300 mAh versus A3’s 1900 mAh battery.

Galaxy E7 E5

The Galaxy E series is the cheaper one here, coming with a polycarbonate unibody design. The Galaxy E5 comes with almost the same specs as the Galaxy A3 – except for the 5 inch HD display instead of a 4.5” qHD display in the A3 and a bigger battery at 2400 mAh battery. The Galaxy E7 too has almost the same specs as the Galaxy A5, but the E7 has a bigger 5.5 inch display and a bigger 2950 mAh battery.

All the four phones announced today come with Android 4.4.4 KitKat and support LTE. They all support Dual SIMs as well.

The company is targeting the 19,000 to Rs. 25,000 price bracket with these two new series of Galaxy devices. The Galaxy E5 will cost Rs. 19,300 and the Galaxy E7 will cost Rs. 23,000.
