Samsung releases midrange Galaxy Core
It has been a while since we saw a solid midrange Android smartphone from Samsung (last one being Galaxy SIII Mini). Galaxy Core should change that. Galaxy Core comes with a 4.3” 480×800 resolution display and a huge 1800mAh battery to power the large display. Under the hood, there is a 1.2GHz dual core processor and a gigabyte of RAM. Galaxy Core comes in single SIM and dual SIM variants. Samsung has included features like Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Motion UI and S Voice that made Galaxy S3 a hit. There is a 5mp rear camera and a VGA front facing camera for video calling. The single SIM variant will be available in July while the Dual SIM variant should start shipping this month.
