HP announce stunning new EliteBook Folio 1020 to compete with Mabook Air

Finally, Macbook Air has true competition and this one is from HP. HP EliteBook Folio 1020 family is the new industry’s thinnest and lightest business-class notebooks. HP EliteBook 1020 and 1020 Special Edition are just 15.7mm thick and come with magensium-lithium alloy and carbon fibre body. The result is that the EliteBook 1020 weights just 1kg. EliteBook Folio 1020 SE will be available for sale in February, EliteBook Folio 1020 Special Edition will be released in April. Pricing for all products will be set closer to availability.

Both EliteBook variants will give upto 9 hours of battery life, designed to withstand drops, shocks and extreme temperatures/humidity and high pressure. EliteBook 1020 variants have passed military-grade stress testing (MIL-STD 810G). Powered by Intel Core-M processor, 1020 comes with 12.5″ QHD 4K resolution display, HP premium keyboard, TPM module, fingerprint reader, self-healing BIOS, 720p webcam, front firing HD audio speakers, DTS studio sound, HP noise reduction software.
