Gionee M2017 smartphone comes with huge 7000mAh battery power
Gionee M2017 smartphone is a new large battery smartphone from the Chinese phone maker. At 7000mAh, the battery in the M2017 is among the biggest that you can see in a smartphone. The Gionee M2017 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chip, known for consumer less power. The phone looks spectacular, thanks to gold and leather finishing. Priced at Yuan 6999 (68303 rupees) for 128GB variant and a whopping Yuan 16,999 (1,65,892 rupees) for 256GB storage variant, the Gionee M2017 is clearly targeted at those who prefer luxury in smartphones.
The display is 5.7″ in size and has 2560 x 1440 resolution AMOLED panel. The Gionee M2017 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 and has 6GB of RAM onboard. The phone comes with two variants. One has 128GB of onboard storage while the higher variant comes with 256GB of storage onboard. Coming to optics, there is dual rear camera setup with 12mp and 13mp lens. The front facing selfie camera hass 8mp lens.
The problem here is that Gionee is a brand that cannot pull top tier users and the phone weighs 238 grams and thats just 50 grams less than the iPad Mini 4. Yeah, this phone weighs almost as much as a 7″ tablet. Gionee has used dual 3500mAh batteries to attain 7000 mAh battery capacity. What is wierd is the combination of low power chipset with super heavy battery and then the price tag. These things are not in sync.
At launch, The Gionee M2017 runs amigo3.5 OS (based on Android 6 Marshmallow). The phone weighs 238 grams and has 155.2mm*77.6mm*10.78mm dimensions. As expected, there is a fingerprint sensoe (front mounted).
