Endomondo announced this week that their application is now compatible with Pebble smartwatch and with Jabra’s Pulse headset. Pebble users will now be able to connect their smart-watch with Endomondo sports tracker application to start/stop/pause a workout. The watch will display up to three data metrics (distrance travelled, heart rate etc). Pebble will provide tactile feedback for each mile/kilometer with a performance summary at noted intervals. To connect Endomondo with Pebble, go to settings –> smartwatch –> pebble.

Jabra Pulse users can now enjoy music and get Endomondo stats on the headset. To connect headset to Endomondo, head to settings –> Accessory settings –> turn on headset controls. Once the bluetooth on phone is on and Jabra Pulse is paired, the data from Endomondo is passed to headset. Users can also start/pause/resume workout by pressing sports button on headset. Users can also get data thats on Endomondo app read out loud on Jabra Pulse. Those who purchase new Jabra Pulse now will get a year of Premium membership.

“As interest expands, Endomondo has been aggressively developing for wearable devices,” Mette said.  “Endomondo’s aim is to utilize new technologies to support our core belief that social interaction and support are key motivators when it comes to people getting and staying fit.”
