Xiaomi RedmiBook 13, 14, and 16 inch models bring Ryzen 4000 CPUs

The Ryzen 4000 hype is very real and Xiamoi RedmiBook 13, RedmiBook 14 and RedmiBook 16 inch models with the Ryzen 4000 series CPUs are launched in China. All three models are powered by AMD Ryzen 5 4500U CPU or AMD Ryzen 7 4700U and are priced at CNY 3799 (40,158 INR), CNY 3,999 (INR 42272), and CNY 4,499 (INR 47558) respectively for base variants. Coming to sales, Xiaomi will start selling these notebook PCs from 1st of June.  These gorgeous looking laptops may hit Indian markets sometime later this year, as per recent gossip in blogosphere.

The Xiaomi RedmiBook 13, 14 and 16 come with same design and there are minor differences in internal specifications. Only the RedmiBook 13 comes with 1TB PCIe SSD option. All three come with AMD’s integrated Radeon GPU. The display on these three models has FullHD resolution and 250nits brightness. RedmiBook 16 display can go upto 300nits brightness.  You can select up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage. RedmiBook 13 has optional 1TB SSD.

Coming to battery, Xiaomi RedmiBook 13 and 14 come with 40Wh battery and the bigger RedmiBook 16 comes with 46Wh battery. Redmibook 16 battery can last upto 12 hours and can charge from 0 to 50% in 38 minutes. Given that AMD has made huge strides in laptop power management with Ryzen 4000 series, we expect solid batttery life on these three models.

Xiaomi RedmiBook 13, 14 and 16 have 2x USB Type-C ports, 1x USB Type-A port, 1x HDMI port, 1x 3.5mm headphone jack, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, dual stereo speakers with DTS audio support. all three models come with Windows 10 Home Chinese edition pre-installed. Redmibook 13 weighs 1.23kg, 14 measures 1.2kg and 16 measures 1.8kg.
