Xiaomi Mi 3 gets official TWRP support

One of the most popular custom recoveries out there, the TeamWin Recovery, has been updated to support the Xiaomi Mi 3. The Xiaomi Mi 3 is a Nexus 5 for the most part, with the same processor and GPU, and launched around the same time. It’s nice to see some progress finally on the community efforts side of things.

You can sideload the recovery onto your Xiaomi Mi 3 by enabling Android Debugging, then reboot into the bootloader.

Type fastboot flash recovery recoveryfilename.img when in bootloader mode and you should have the recovery installed on your phone.
