XonoMail for Android provides innovative way to organize and categorize Email

Over the past few months, we saw some really good e-mail clients and this week, we bring you a new email application for Android that take things a little bit differently. XonoMail is probably the first e-mail application for Android that automatically categorizes your e-mail making it easy for you to go through your e-mail. This app, based on open source K-9 Mail is perfect for those who receive tons of email every week. XonoMail is currently available as a beta and only for users in USA only. Also, the categorization happens only for Gmail account and the app is yet to get Exchange and gmail enterprise email support.

When new email arrives, XonoMail tags the email with a category icon or a picture. Though XonoMail has to go through each every mail in your inbox, the devs assure that none of that data reaches another person and that XonoMail should be considered to work more like a ‘spam filter’ that filters and moves on. The categorization happens in efficient manner, thanks to XonoHub and its powerful algorithm. Thanks to this advanced categorization and organizing email, cleaning the inbox is super easy, especially for Gmail users who lack the advanced cleanup features that some of the rivals provide.

Features:

  • Inbox: automatic category icons (Gmail only)
  • XonoHub: Automatic email organization by category (Gmail only)
  • XonoHub: Automatic email organization by Contact photo (all email accounts)
  • Push mail with IMAP IDLE (Gmail, AOL…)
  • Email threads support
  • Customizability
  • Supports email protocol: POP3 and IMAP with Push IDLE
  • Automatic setup with major email accounts: Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, Aol…
  • Unified inbox
