YouTube Music Award nominees announced, voting now open
Voting for first ever YouTube Music Awards is open now (YTMA). Do hurry as the awards are scheduled to happen on November 3 at Pier 36, New York. The event will be live streamed on YouTube, featuring performances from Lady Gaga, Eminem, Arcade Fire, Avicii, M.I.A., Earl Sweatshirt, Tyler the Creator, and Walk Off the Earth and more. Listed below are the list of award categories and nominations for each category. All you need to do is, go to youtube.com/musicawards and to vote, you need to go to the respective playlist and play your pick.
The six nomination categories (video of the year, Artist of the year, Response of the year, Youtube phenomenon, YouTube breakthrough, Innovation of the year) and nominees for this year’s YouTube Music Awards are listed after the break. Nominations are selected based on YouTube users views, likes, comments, subscriptions done since September 2012.
