ZTE announce Nubia Z9 Max and Z9 Mini Android smartphones

ZTE has announced addition of two new smartphones to its Nubia lineup. The new phones are named Nubia Z9 Mini and Nubia Z9 Max.  Both the phones will be released in China in April and will be made available in other countries later this year. Z9 Mini will cost $241 while Z9 Max will cost $401. Z9 Mini and Z9 Max will replace the ageing Z7 Max and Z7 Mini smartphones that were released about a year ago. Z9 Mini will be available in the market from 2nd of April whil Z9 Max will be available from 16th of April.

Z9 Max will be the top end model, powered by Qualcomm Snapdraon 810 processor. This is the first smartphone from ZTE that is powered by Snapdragon 810. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The display has FullHD resolution and is 5.5” in size. This phone will have the new Nubia UI 2.8 (on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop). The battery is 2900mAh, there are 8mp/16mp cameras similar to Z9 Mini and the microSD card will take cards upto 128GB in size.

Z9 Mini comes with a 5” FullHD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 with 8-core CPU, has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage onboard. ZTE has provided a microSD card slot that can take upto 128GB size SD Cards. 2900mAh battery is a boon for those who prefer long battery life. Also, there is a 16mp rear camera while the 8mp front facing camera should be able to shoot quality selfies. Z9 Mini will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-loaded.
