Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 based reference tablet and smartphone available for developers

On any development platform, it is essential for the hardware/OS maker to provide early access to the product to the developers so that by the time the product is out, there will be adequate support from developers. Qualcomm’s Mobile Development Platform is one such platform for developers where Qualcomm provides developers and device makers early access to their high performance platform. This week, Qualcomm has released next generation smartphone and tablet, powered by Snapdragon™ 810 Ultra HD processor (64-bit 8-core CPU, Adreno 430 GPU, Hexagon DSP). Both devices will be running Android OS. Both devices will come with 4GB of LP-DDR4 high performance memory. While the smartphone comes with 6.2” QHD display, the tablet will come with a 10.1” QHD display. Some of the specification are drool-worthy and this indicates the power and features that the next generation smartphones/tablets will come with.
