Sony announce new 1TB Playstation 4 console and lighter 500GB PS4
Close on the heels of Microsoft’s announcement of 1TB Xbox One, Sony has announced that the Playstation fans will also get purchase a 1TB Playstation 4. The new variant will be available in Europe and PAL territories from 15th of July. This is very good news given that 500GB is nowhere close to being enough storage given how large the new generation games are getting and how each expansion pack is eating into that hard drive space. Sony has not yet revealed the pricing of the new console.
Sony has also tweaked the 500GB model a little bit so that the console, is 10% lighter and 8% thinner than the 500GB variant. The top cover now comes in less glossy and more of a matte finishing.
