Panasonic launches P66 Mega in India for Rs. 7,990
Panasonic has launched a new smartphone in the P series dubbed as P66 Mega. The highlight of the device is that it supports 21 Indian languages. The P66 Mega has been priced at Rs. 7,990 and will be available in Electric Blue, Rose Gold and Russet Brown colour options. The manufacturer is also offering a free screen guard and back cover with the device.
The dual-SIM (3G+2G) Panasonic P66 Mega is powered by a 64-bit 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The device features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device features an 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop skinned with Panasonic Icon UI and is powered by a 3200mAh battery. The device lacks 4G connectivity which is available in devices such as Redmi 2 Prime which has a lower price tag. In the connectivity section, the handset supports 3G, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.1, and Micro-USB options.
