Microsoft announce three custom design controllers based on Ford GT liveries

Celebrating Ford’s announcement of a new Ford GT car to race at 24 Hours of Le Mans race, Turn 10 Studios is going to release three new Xbox One controller designs that portray three iconic Ford victories. The special edition controllers are designed based on 1965 Ford 289 cu 4.7L V8, 1966 Ford GT40 and the 1967 Ford GT and these controllers look absolutely stunning. Too sad that these will not be available in India. Xbox will be the official sponsor of 24 hours of Le Mans in its 90th year.

Ford first won the Le Mans race in 1965 and was able to defend the title in 1966 and 1967. The controller that is designed based on this year comes with blue and white racing livery that donned the car driven by Bob Bondurant and Dan Gurney who became first Americans to win the Le Mans GT Class race.

The 1966 design based controller comes with black and grey livery, based on legendary Ford GT40 that gave Ford their first GT class constructor title at Le Mans. The Ford GT40 was driven by Bruce McLaren and Cbhris Amon.

The 1967 design based controller has red and white livery based on the car driven by Dan Gurney and AJ Foyt.
