Lenovo launches a range of consumer laptops in India
As an event in Bangalore yesterday, Lenovo launched a range of new end consumer laptops in India. Lenovo has been continually strengthening their mobile and laptop offerings for end consumers in India. Lenovo has shown its strong commitment to Indian market with a host of devices that makes sense for the Indian market. They also have a reputed customer service network in India, which is backbone for success for any product in India. Lenovo launched new laptops across all segments: entry level, mid-range, premium, gaming and convertibles.
Entry Level
Ideapad 310
Ideapad 310 is an entry level laptop with highlights on its multimedia performance. It has Dolby Audio™ for powerful and dynamic sound. It is powered by Intel® Core™ i5-7200U processor. It weighs 2.2 Kg and is available in Black, Silver, Red and Purple colors. It is priced at Rs 28390.
Mid-range
Ideapad 510s
Slightly up the category, somewhere between the entry and the mid level is the Ideapad 510s. It is a lightweight laptop at 1.7kg. It offers Intel Core i5 7th Gen i5 7200u processor for performance. With a 14 inch full HD display, the Ideapad 510s is priced at Rs 51090.

Ideapad 710s
The Ideapad 710s is a thin and mean machine. It is powered by Intel® Core™ i7-7500U Processor , 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD. It has a 13.3 inch display and weights just 1.1 kg. This thin laptop has integrated graphic card. It is priced at Rs 73390.
Gaming Laptop
Ideapad Y700
Ideapad Y700 is this year’s lenovo model on the gaming lineup. The Y700 is coming soon to India and it will be priced at Rs 128090. It comes bundled with back-pack, mechanical mouse, gaming, mouse and gaming headset for an additional Rs 2999, for a bundle worth Rs 19496.
Convertibles
Yoga 510 and Yoga 710
Both the mid and premium Yoga models, 510 and 710 was announced for the Indian market. The much awaited Yoga Book is coming soon, but not yet announced.
Powered by the 7th Gen Core i5 i5 7200u, the Yoga 510 is a 14 inch convertible laptop weighing 1.8 kg. It is priced starting at Rs 40990, varying depending on the storage options. The Yoga 710 will be priced at Rs 85490.
Miix 310
All eyes were on the Miix 310 at the launch event. For anyone who is looking at a light weight portable solution or a secondary travel companion, the MIIX 310 makes a lot of sense. It is a detachable laptop weighing at 580 grams. It can take in 4G sim card for portable connectivity. It offers 10 hours of battery and has a full HD display and 2 GB of RAM. Buyers protection
Lenovo has also announced 3 years accidental damage protection and 3 years extended warranty free for selected laptops priced over Rs 50000. Other laptop buyers can avail the protection at a nominal fee. However all Lenovo laptop buyers will get McAfee Live Safe Suite licences.
